CONSTRUCTION   of   WHOLE-TONE   SCALES

This is a 6 NOTE SCALE so, in a similar fashion to how we approached
the 8 NOTE Diminished scale, this time we will leave out the "6th".
(This reasoning behind this strategy will become apparent when naming
"AUGMENTED 7" chords.)

    Let's construct a "C WHOLE-TONE" scale:

 alpha ~ C D E F# G# Bb C

numeric ~ 1 2 3 #4 #5 b7 8(1)
               \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ /
spacing ~ tone tone tone tone tone tone

NOTE: In a tonal sense, there are only 2 DIFFERENT WHOLE-TONE SCALES:
       starting at "C" or "C#/Db"...
